Is there going to be a restricted members area like the last time for people who have paid for it?
I noticed there's a newer version out FTPRush 1.1.3.0 and I am still using the last one from the previous registered members area FTPRush 1.1.2.19 (UNICODE, 2008-02-29 08:59) .I could download the installation exe ,run it and install somewhere else and then copy the exe over to my original folder but this seems a lot of trouble for a minor update to me.
I liked the update packages whereby you just overwrote the files in your rush folder with the newer file versions.
members area ?

Hi,
There is no restricted members area in this new forum.
And the live update function will still work in the new version 1.1.30

Ok so you are saying that i will need to install to another drive ,extract the exe and move to rush folder before i can use the update ability ?

Connecting to http://www.ftprush.com
Receiving version information
You are using the latest version
When clearly I am not using the latest version

Im not sure what you mean by this... But why dont you just download the new version (1.1.3) and install it "over" you older version..??
That worked fine for me..

I had the prev version before I uppgraded to 1.1.3, and then it also said I had the latest version...
So I had to download the installer manually and install over the old version too :(.
Hope the updater will work in the future!

Re: members area ?
I dont want to install it over my current version / setup which i have spent time with to get just as i like it,therefore I am apprehensive about doing that as it might mess it up as i have customised some of the scripts in it also to suit my personal needs.Of course I could and have backed up my current version in case anything goes wrong and simply fix it that way but as stated why doesnt the current updater in my version not update me to the newer version.
WHICH is why I was asking about the old style manual downloads to update it thanks
