So we have set our users to have specific quotas (100GB) on their FTP folders. However we have noticed that some users are getting alerted that they have hit their limit, however when we login and check they are about 1/5 full.
How is the Current Quota calculated? What can a user do that would make this field not update when they are deleting, or adding to their folder?
thanks,
Brian

Do you mean "User Current Quota"? Yes, it will increase when files are deleted.

Re: "Current Quota" not displaying properly
Sorry, I lost track of this thread.
In WingFTP Server, under "Ratio/quota" tab and the "Enable Disk quota" section there is a "Current Quota".
My understanding was that this will reflect the data that is in the directory at that moment. When items are deleted, that number goes down, and when added that number goes up, but to not ever exceed the "Max Quota" number. Is that not how this field works?

Re: "Current Quota" not displaying properly
When you give a value to "Current Quota", it won't calculate the total size of the home directory.
