Hi there,
We are strongly considering purchasing your product, and are deciding between your Secure edition and Enterprise edition. We like the LDAP support on the enterprise, but I'm having a hard time justifying paying an extra $500 for it. It doesn't do a whole lot besides allow you to use the AD password.
What would make it worth it, is an automatic process that would convert & sync an AD account to a local user account. At bare minimum, it would copy the user's home directory in AD. I would also like to see read/write permissions synced.
If this is already planned for a future update, I think we will go ahead and purchase the Enterprise edition. Please let me know if this is a priority to you, so we can make our decision.
Thanks!
Matt

Re: Automatic Active Directory Account Mapping
I think it is impossible to convert & sync an AD account to a local user account, because you can't read user password from Active directory.
