A few weeks back we upgraded our wingftp server running on CentOS6 from I think 4.5.X to 4.8.3 and since then it seems to be crashing multiple times a day with nothing logged that we can see.
Has anyone else had this and is there any extra logging we can enable to try and track down the problem?
Another thing is under Version Info the latest version never shows up. It just shows flashing red boxes.

Did you get some coredump file under the WingFTP's folder? You can send it to us via email.

Hi,
I've not seen any coresdumps. I'll look again. Where would they be located?

Yes, because you did not enable core dumps under Linux, you can check out this article:

I've got coredumps enabled...
ulimit -c replies unlimited and I've checked system settings and it's set to that too.
However, I'm not getting any coredumps generated.
Examining the domain logs then I can see that there does seem to be a pattern, so from today...

Just to let you (topicstarter) know that we are experiencing a similar problem (regular crashes without any error message).
I think for us it started with WingFTP version 4.7.8
RedHat 6.9 64-bit, 2.6.32-696.el6.x86_64

Could you find any core dump files under WingFTP's folder? And you had better upgrade to the latest version 4.8.5 now.

We're now on 4.9.2. I'll let you know if it happens again.
Edited to add: It's not crashed again since we upgraded last Friday and it had been doing that on a daily basis
