We are running WingFTP server 5.0.6 on linux with "File TimeStamp using GMT" option checked. We noticed the timestamps for files on ftp server are off when viewing the file list through SFTP connection; There is no problem with plain FTP connection. This is observed on more than one ftp client include FileZilla;
For example: a file on the FTP server has timestamp as 17:00 EDT with day light saving time (Which is 21:00 GMT); On plain ftp connection, the ftp client on the east time zone would show the correct timestamp as 17:00; but on SFTP connection, the ftp client shows 22:00 ( Note it is not 21:00 of GMT time); Not sure why. Is there any settings on the server to correct this? Thx

Re: Incorrect file timestamp shown through SFTP connection
Yes, it is really an issue, actually the option "File TimeStamp using GMT" should be used for the FTP protocol only, we will fix it in the next release.

Thanks for looking into the issue. Can you tell me when next release is scheduled?

Re: Incorrect file timestamp shown through SFTP connection
Please try the latest version 5.0.8, in this version, the option "File timestamp uses GMT time" is only for FTP protocol, because SFTP/HTTP client won't convert the file timestamp.
