Compression (MODE Z)

When Listing: by check this option to enable MODE Z compression for listing FTP directory

When Uploading: by check this option to enable MODE Z compression for uploading files

When Downloading: by check this option to enable MODE Z compression for downloading files

 

Disk Cache for download

Disk buffer for every download connection: when download speed is not fast, disk buffer is useful to decrease HDD fragment, data be stored at memory temporarily until buffer is full or download finished. if you don't want to use it, set it to zero.

NOTES: disk cache will slow down the large transfers for example on a 10M local LAN.

 

Exceptions

Bypass compression/cache for internal network address: by check this option FTP Rush will disable using compression and disk cache for internal network. because of for high speed transfering, compression and cache cost more CPU time

 

Do not use compression/cache for addresses beginning with: Sets the addresses that do not need to be transfer with compression/cache mode. You can use wild cards to match addresses and use semicolon to separate each address. For example, 220.67.*;12.1.3.*;211.*

 

Do not use compression for file extension matching with: Sets the file extension that do not need to be transfer with compression mode. You can use wild cards to match extension and use semicolon to separate each entry.
