Good day.

Windows domain user authentication with WingFTP Does not work. (over LDAP)

WingFTP Domain log:
[02] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) Connected from xx.xxx.xx.x (local address xx.xx.xx.xxx, port 21)
[04] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) 220 Wing FTP Server ready...
[03] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) USER anonymous
[04] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) 331 Password required for anonymous
[03] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) PASS **********
[14] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 An error occurs when doing LDAP::ldap_search_s. Error code=1
[04] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) 530 Not logged in,password error.
[02] Thu, 22 Aug 2019 13:21:51 (0000025) Closed session, disconnected from xx.xx.xx.xx

login and password are correct.

If I create a local user on the WingFTP server, everything works.

Tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Please input the Bind DN (like "cn=manager,dc=example,dc=com") and Bind Password, and also try to use the LDAP port 3268.

All right.
LDAP Host information:
Host = 192.168.3.4 Port = 3268
DC=Example,DC=local
LDAP version = 3

Bind using simple auth..
Bind dn=wingftp,OU=IT,DC=Example,DC=local
Bind Password=**************

"Connection test" ldap succeeds
Default home dir: C://LDAP_Directory" rel="nofollow

File Access:
Read, List

WingFTP domain log:
530 Not logged in,password error.

No LDAP error now? Maybe you have the same local user existed, then it will authenticate with the local user password.

Now there are no errors on LDAP, the error is only on user / password. No, local / domain users are not duplicated.

By the way, how to bind an AD domain group and a WingFTP group?
Now they match by name.
For example, the group 'uit' is in the AD domain and in WingFTP to which the directory on the disk is mapped.
