I am upgrading from version 4.0.5 to the current release.
also moveing to server 2016.

can i just install the new version on a new build server and then copy the data folder?

dose the server host name need to be the same for the licance to work?

I also have a PHP script that creates users from a webpage but it keeps telling me user allready exists. has the order of fields changed?

Yes, just install the new version on the new server, and then copy the entire folder "/Data" from the old server.
And about your PHP script, I don't know what it is, you can tell us the details by sending email.
