Yep, that was it for me too. I adjusted from the default 8 to 24 and now:
(10:33:00) transferred 8 file(s) - Total: 26.4 M byte(s) in 33.14 (836.56 KBps)
Glad we got this resolved. I really didn't like the other client I was using. :)

I had the same problem on Windows 8 final Enterprise

Have the same problem but should be getting far higher speeds than 1.2 but that appears to be the max I can get and I only get that by adjusting the tcp/ip buffer as suggested.

thanks for the tip guys/gals
i looked at FlashFXP's setting for the tcp buffer and it was 640k, so that is what i set it to in FTPrush.
and i too am on windows 8.
=)

I changed the tcp/ip buffer for both upload and download to 128kb.
Before i was stuck around 150kb/s now i have 6 to 8mb/s.

I was having the same problem on a Win7 system, i.e. my upload speeds were only 1/3 as fast as with Filezilla. I changed my tcp/ip buffers to 1024 each and now the speeds are the same as with Filezilla (35 Mbps+) with all the advantages of FTP Rush.
