HTTP name

Post by DiegoCL »

I'm new in this topic, so I tried the trial version of Wing FTP Server and I don't know how to connect to the domain I create, but with the Domain's name no with the Local IP; for example to connect to the web client I have to type http://localip/login" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow but i want to connecto with something like http://www.domainsname.com" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow or something like that. I don't know if I can do that.

Hope you can help me with that.

Thanks.

Diego Calderon.

You just need to register a domain name, and setup the DNS record.

Ok.

But just another question. I have two domains:
coga.com:
FTP port: 21
FTPS port: 990
HTTP port: 80
HTTPS port: 443
SFTP port: 22

tgp.com:
FTP port: 1021
FTPS port: 1990
HTTP port: 1080
HTTPS port: 1443
SFTP port: 1022

So when the users try to connect, they have to write http://xx.xxx.xx.xx/login.html" rel="nofollow to enter to COGA.COM domain, but then http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:1021/login.html" rel="nofollow if they want to enter to TGP.COM. I think it's not very easy for the users to remember the IP or the port number. So there is my question, there is an easy way to connect to the diferents domains? How would it be if there is the case? What I have to do to configure that?

I hope you can help me.

You can use a reverse HTTP proxy server, like this: http://www.wftpserver.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=740" rel="nofollow
