Hi,
I'm evaluating WinFTP for use on one of our Linux servers.
This cannot be changed from the current version of linux at this time. (Redhat Enterprise linux ES Rel 4)
"Linux localhost.localhost 2.6.9-5.EL #1 Wed Jan 5 19:22:18 EST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux"
The Kernel mentioned here meets the minimum requirements mentioned on the download page:
"Wing FTP Server v3.6.6 for Linux 32-bit with kernel 2.6.x."
When I try to start the server I get the following error message(s):
./wftpserver: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.5' not found (required by ./wftpserver)
./wftpserver: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.1' not found (required by ./wftpserver)
./wftpserver: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./wftpserver)
I have tried doing a few things found on the internet that reference similar problems, they haven't worked for me.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to solve this?
Thanks,
Aik/Jeff

Hi,
Thanks, yes it is a little old :P but it does appear to fall within the Specs for WingFTP.
I have downloaded that file and I'll look at adding it to the system libraries (somehow... *Googles*)
Thanks,
Aik/Jeff
