Time difference in files

Post by mellul »

I am running v. 3.6.1 Standard Edition on one server and 3.5.2 Corporate Edition on another. They will both be upgraded tonight so I don't know if this problem may be solved with the upgrade.

It has just been brought to my attention that the time of the modified date on the web client is seen at totally different times to that when I enter the FTP using windows explorer. For example in my instance, I uploaded a file to the webclient at 2pm, the time on the windows explorer is seen at 12:05 whilst on the web client it is seen at 14:05pm. This test was done with the corporate edition but the standard edition yields the same results.

Do you think I may have a wrong setting or can this be a bug?

I have tested it, but found no problem. Could you tell me your detailed system environment?

The server is Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2.

The client side is Windows XP Professional version 2002 SP3. Web client is seen through Internet explorer 8 through port 100 (not 80) and I connected to FTP via Windows Explorer port 21.

If you need any further details please ask.

Maybe it is related with your time zone, please set the time zone correctly, then restart the Wing FTP service.

Time zone is correct on both server and laptop where FTP is accessed from.

Does Wing FTP have some kind of setting for Time Zones or time?
