How To Move Rather Than Copy Files During Transfer

Postby brainflurry » Wed Sep 25, 2013 2:42 am

I have recently moved from using WinSCP to FTP Rush because FTP Rush was so easily configurable to my workflow.

However, I'm experiencing some difficulty moving files from a FTP server. I am not trying to just to copy files, but move them. In a move operation, the files that have been transferred to a new location and are no longer in the original location. This is especially handy when moving log files from a server to a local disk.

I understand that I can copy the files to my local machine and then delete the files on the server but that would become cumbersome across half a dozen or more simultaneous transfers.

In WinSCP, I could highlight the files to be moved and just press F6 to move the files. Is there such a feature in FTP Rush? If not, could this be accomplished with the Command Designer and if so, how?

Thanks in advance.
