HTTPS and jdownload plugin

Post by jee-pee »

Hi

My web site is in https, with a DomainSSL Certificate.

When I start a multiple download (plugin jdownload), first I have an error message saying "connection is not secure", with is not true

And if I bypass the warning, a java message saying "the application is not secure", refer I thing to the jdownload.jar and to the software editor "Hedong". In detail, there is an ending date of certificate to January 24 2016.

How to resolve this ?

(On wing ftp demo server, I have the same second message on http://demo.wftpserver.com/" rel="nofollow and the two errors on https://demo.wftpserver.com/" rel="nofollow, but the initial ssl certificate is already out of date)

thanks

Yes, the ending date of certificate is January 24 2016, but the Java applet was signed before that day, so it won't effect the applet usage.

The main problem is the first message. Because it says, while the site is in https, connection not secure, certificate not valid. Not secure at all.

Please ignore such message, and BTW, Java applet won't be supported by most web browser in the future.

OK, when most web browser does not support Java applet, then we will consider migrating Java applet to JNLP.
