Does CHMOD work on wingftp windows?

Hello,

Running latest version of wingftp on windows 2008. We have one user who has tried to CHMOD a directory, and finds that no matter what he chmods to, the system simply ignores it and leaves everything as 777.

I'm able to duplicate this using linux sftp client, psftp, and filezilla as sftp.

I have enabled the "SITE CHMOD" option, did nothing.

Have I missed something, or is chmod simply not supported?

There is no "CHMOD" concept in Microsoft Windows, "SITE CHMOD" option is just used for Linux system.
