Forced Binary Transfer?

Please post here if you have problems in using Wing FTP Server.

Forced Binary Transfer?

I have a client trying to upload a file. No matter if the specify or not, it forces it to a binary transfer. This is the command event from their end:

230 User XXXXX logged in.
EZA1460I Command:
EZA1736I SENDSITE
EZA1611I Usage of SITE command with PUT is OFF
EZA1460I Command:
EZA1736I ASCII
EZA1701I >>> TYPE A
200 Type set to A
EZA1460I Command:
EZA1736I PUT 'PAY.TEST.TRAX.EXTRACT.ENCRYPT.SEQ' traxftp.asc
EZA1701I >>> PORT 172,29,180,19,6,125
200 Port command successful
EZA1701I >>> STOR traxftp.asc
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for file transfer.
226 File received ok.Transfer bytes:2818350Bytes;Average speed is:917.432KB/s

Hi,

Yes, the current version forces the transfer mode to a binary transfer. This is just unsmart when you transfer a text file between different operating systems, such as linux and windows.
We will fixed this in the next version. Thanks for your reporting.
