How to connect to webclient externally?

Post by rgardeck »

Hello, I am new to wing ftp server.
I just installed the trial software on the server.
I can connect to the FTP folders remotely, but only through client software.
How do I have my customers connect to the webclient GUI where I display the custom logo, etc?
Just to be clear, I can see the files on the FTP server through client software, but I want to be able to allow my customers to see the GUI webclient page.

The default web client uses the port 80, so you can visit the web client via: http://YourServerIP" rel="nofollow

Consider the cenario where your employees can access web client at any time if there at the company (LAN). If they're accessing externally, idea is to permit only some users to have access (managers) and they have to authenticate twice, first to be able to use web client externally, second to lo gin to web client.

Create 2 virtual hosts in web server. In the ice warp console, web/general, add 2 sites.

Maybe you can add some IP access rules to solve it.
