User "exceeded quota" when none enforced.

We had an LDAP user account abort file transfer because of quota exceeded.
1. We don't have any quotas set or enforced.
2. I thought quotas didn't apply to LDAP users anyway?

SSH_FXP_STATUS: Maximum quota exceeded.Transfer aborted.

What would cause this?

Please check whether you mapped the LDAP user to a local user.

It is not mapped to a local account.

OK, if you got a server log like "SSH_FXP_STATUS: Maximum quota exceeded.Transfer aborted.", it indicates you have enabled the "disk quota" for a local user, if you use LDAP authentication, then LDAP user probably maps to the local user.

We don't enforce quota or transfer limits anywhere, and the LDAP user is absolutely not mapped to any local user.

The issue has popped up again.
Originally, the LDAP account is not mapped to local.
I tried to add a local and map it and made sure no quotas are enforced on the Local account, and it has the issue still.
