SSH2 Ganymed

Postby James Pants » Thu Mar 08, 2012 1:09 pm

When using Wing FTP Server version 3.9.0 i occasionally receives an excepltion from my ganymed SSH2 client, stating that the "Remote sent too much data, does not fit into window."...
What gives?? is this "window" size configurable in Wing FTP?

Hello.

We have the same issue with Ganymed and Wing FTP Server. We have tried upgrading Wing FTP Server to 4.0.5, but this has not solved the issue.

What we see is a series of "Remote sent too much data, does not fit into window." errors with a few seconds in between.

The client is SSH-2.0-Ganymed-build260 and the server is Wing FTP Server 4.0.5.

This error occurs frequently (many times per day) and is a huge problem. Is this a known issue and are there any workarounds to it?

Kind regards, Mads

Hello.

We have now noticed, that the domain log reports: "Closed session, disconnected from <snip>. The reason is:Internal error."

Is there any way to see what this "internal error" is about?

Kind regards, Mads

Hi,

Some client will sent a huge windows size which WingFTP not allow. Could you please reproduce this error and send the logs and settings of the WingFTP to us at: support@wftpserver.com

Thank you.
